And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.--Mark 4:39 (ESV)
Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”--Luke 17:20-21 (NKJV)
"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom].”--2 Corinthians 3:17 (AMP)
When we realize (become fully aware of experientially) the kingdom of God THEN it begins to impact not only our own life but that of those both far and near. We cannot bring peace and healing to ourself or others by expounding some sort of a belief or theory no matter how true they may be. However, when we realize (experience) the kingdom (presence) of God we will make a difference. Most of the time this will not be with some big outward show that will bring attention to ourself but the effects will be manifested nevertheless. Those who are “spiritually attuned” to God will recognize His workings but the great masses will not discern them.
“Where life is, there is no death. The kingdom of God is within us. The kingdom is wherever it is realized. The kingdom of God is a ‘peace be still’ to any form of error.”—Joel S Goldsmith, The Only Freedom, p. 126
